The Changing Face Of Network Marketing

Network marketing is undergoing a revolution. The internet has added a powerful new dimension to MLM that it's a little hard to ignore.

I know, the old time network marketers are still clinging onto the old principles such as outdated prospecting methods which cause new distributors more grief than anything else. The 3 foot rule! Don't tell me people are still using it... surely not!

Here's the truth about network marketing early in the 21st. century... unless you combine both the power of online resources with the relationship building resources of the offline world you are basically fighting an uphill battle in this business.

Automated online systems are great, but what's the point if you attract hundreds of prospects without actually making contact with them personally. The lazy network marketer's way is to simply let the automation process carry a prospect from start to sign up and if this appeals to you then be prepared for an ugly attrition rate.

The MLM business is still about creating relationships with your distributors and this is the core essence of building a solid business foundation. Don't let anyone tell you any different!

What's Wrong With The Network Marketing Duplication System?

So what is wrong with the network marketing duplication system? Don't get me wrong, duplication is a wonderful thing and when it's on song in a network marketing business magic happens.

Let's get real though, in a perfect world the MLM duplication process is great but in reality, it's very much flawed.

Why?

Because people are different. I am different to you and you are different to someone else. The idea of duplication in network marketing is to take a group of people and get them doing exactly what their upline is doing. In theory, that sounds like a great idea because when every one is pulling in the same direction the power of leverage is a wonderful thing.

How frustrated do you get when someone in your downline won't follow the system? They try and improvise or they leave out a specific report or cd in an information pack because they don't like the message it conveys. Or, they have a prospect reviewing information and the team strategy is to do a follow up within 48 hours yet, your trusty distributor decides to leave it for 96 hours instead.

You can't get annoyed at your downline because the simple truth is, human nature dictates people are in the main, individuals and the concept of molding these individuals into clones of you just ain't going to happen.

So how do you get around this? Well, by all means follow your team's system but remember this, those people who end up joining your network marketing business will invariably be joining you and not the company. In other words, resist becoming staid, boring and predictable and put some of your own stamp into the prospecting process. Develop your own unique style, personality and flavor and you'll be amazed at the results!

The Renegade Network Marketer - How To Attract Hungry Prospects!

The great turn off for budding network marketers today is the concept of making a list of friends, relatives and people they have come into contact with over time and then basically harassing them and hunting them down to join their opportunity.

Or, being encouraged to buy hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of leads which in time prove worthless and literal duds.

This sounds a little harsh I know but tell me if it's not close to the truth.

Network Marketing today demands that you must be making money up front. How do you do this? Well, you'd be surprised to know there's a lot the gurus aren't telling you about the marketing aspect of MLM. Did you know you can attract people to your business and actually have them pay you to prospect them?

Instead of forking out valuable dollars to get people joining your business, how do you like the idea of being able to put cash in your pocket up front, whether you sponsor them or not!
